Win-win cooperation

The original supplier of Brand A provided hangers made of laminated wood. Considering the brand image upgrade and the problem of hook detachment during use, the purchaser hoped to optimize the hangers with minimal overall changes. Therefore, they sent us an inquiry and hoped to receive some improvement suggestions from us. After receiving the inquiry, our business team attached great importance to it, collected extensive information about the brand, and gained a deep understanding of the brand style and clothing categories. We worked closely with the R&D team to propose improvement plans for the issues of the existing hanger design:

1. Source higher-quality raw material. The original series of hangers were made of composite wood, which was low-density in texture, and this is the root cause of the detachment of metal parts when used. We suggested that the customer switch to solid European beech wood and make structural improvements at the junction of metal parts and wood, solving the two major problems of easy hook detachment and poor durability of the hanger body.

2. Enhance load-bearing capacity. As the brand involves some outdoor products with special load-bearing requirements, we suggested improving the design of the hooks and the hanger body to increase the load-bearing capacity from the original 5kgs to 10kgs.

3. Considering factors such as pull tests on the hooks, anti-slip function, usage scenarios, and product environmental sustainability, we suggested that the customer use FSC-certified wood to ensure the traceability of raw materials from the source and fulfill the obligation to protect the earth. At the same time, we recommended using environmental metal parts, with chemical content meeting the requirements of the target market.

After sending the improvement suggestions to the customer by email, we sent all the new design drawings to the customer within just two days. The customer was very satisfied and confirmed them immediately. After receiving the customer's positive response, we completed and sent all six new samples to the customer within just 10 days, allowing them to test them in their stores as soon as possible. After four rounds of back-and-forth consultations and improvements, the order was finally confirmed. From development to order confirmation, this process lasted for more than a month. We tirelessly conducted internal tests, third-party professional tests, and on-site tests by the brand itself, continuously refining until the best result was achieved.

The hangers of this series produced by us have been part of this brand's journey from a niche market in Europe to a global stage. They have been gradually introduced into the brand's stores worldwide. Within two years of their global rollout, this series of hangers has received zero complaints. The customer has highly praised this series of products and even took many on-site photos in the first store at the headquarters to give high recognition to our work, achieving a win-win situation for both the customer and our factory.
